I grew up in Waco and attended Midway. I went to MCC on a scholarship for commercial music before moving to Brooklyn in 2007. I studied at the DJ Scratch Academy, founded by Run DMC, for a year when I changed career paths.

In 2010 I graduated from The Swedish Institute of Massage, the oldest continuously operating massage therapy institution in the United States, now called The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. I received my associate’s degree in massage therapy and a NASM-CPT national certification as a personal trainer. Later that year, I received my licensure to practice massage therapy as an LMT in New York State.

In 2011, I passed the MBLEx for national certification in massage therapy. I worked in Florida, Austin Texas, and New York City before moving back to Waco in 2017. I specialize in sports, therapeutic, and deep tissue massage.

Oct 2019 – present

Urban Body is created and the vision is launched to set the new bar for massage therapy.

Fall 2023 – present

Urban Body brings massage therapy to the members of Ridgewood Country Club
