Ensuring that each of our clients enjoys a relaxing experience is one of our top priorities at Urban Body Massage Therapy. These quick tips will help you get the most out of your visit.
If it’s your first visit, it’s important to let your therapist know of any physical conditions (high blood pressure, pregnancy, injuries, surgeries, or medications) that may be important to your health. If you’re a returning customer, please notify us of any updates to your health.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your service. We do not allow time to go over if you’re late. If this is your first visit you will need to arrive 15 minutes prior to go over paperwork.
During your massage, we want you to be completely comfortable. For some, that means undressing fully, while others prefer to wear underwear or shorts. However, please dress appropriately for your treatment. We will only massage the areas you leave uncovered. Plan ahead to get the most out of your experience.
Communication is key to an excellent massage. You are encouraged to let your therapist know if you have a specific area you’d like him/her to work on, if you prefer deeper or lighter pressure, or if you experience discomfort at any time. Tips are never expected but always appreciated.
Massage helps rid your body of toxins, so we encourage you to stay hydrated with lots of water after your treatment to help flush them out. Urban Body also encourages clients to stretch regularly to maintain flexibility and reduce muscle tightness.
